Our Donors

Thank You For Your Generous Support!

United Way of Medina County thanks the generous donors whose support drives our work in the community! Donor gifts are used to help fund strategic partnerships that advance United Way’s work in our three priority areas:

  • Early Childhood Development
  • Youth Engagement
  • Income Stability

We invite you to become part of this very important work. By joining the collective power of other United Way donors, you can help create a community where every person can thrive!

Philanthropist Society

United Way of Medina County’s Philanthropist Society is a powerful giving force in creating lasting change and a stronger community. Affiliated with the national Alexis de Tocqueville Society, Philanthropist Donors make annual gifts of $10,000 or more. This group operates under its own unique charge, appealing to the abilities and influence of its generous membership. Members know that their charitable gifts provide the best return for themselves, and for our community.

Humanitarian Society

Humanitarian Society donors contribute $1,000-$9,999 annually and represent a significant portion of the annual campaign. Their generous support joins the contributions of all donors to drive United Way’s work as a catalyst for change. They help ensure that children are prepared to succeed in school, families have the means to secure and maintain employment, and that our community continues be strong and thriving.

Women’s Leadership Council

The Women’s Leadership Council harnesses the power and energy of Medina County women to change the lives of those most in need. Through volunteerism and philanthropy, WLC members are devoted to ensuring every person in Medina County has the opportunity to achieve a better life.

Young Leaders

The Young Leaders group consists of contributors in their twenties and thirties who are passionate about building our community through advocacy, volunteerism, and philanthropy. Working together, these members are developing the strength and skills to enable a strong future for Medina County.

Planned Giving

United Way of Medina County’s planned giving program is dedicated to the long-term prosperity of our community. Through this program, donors can leave legacy gifts that will continue to help those in need for years to come. Planned gifts are typically made in the form of assets beyond cash gifts as opposed current gifts to provide long-term impact. Through gifts of stock, bequests, life insurance policies, or trusts, donors can contribute to United Way’s planned giving program, increasing the sustained impact in our community.
