The United Way of Medina County acts as a Steward of Effective and Efficient Community Investments. How?
The campaign solicitation area is all of Medina County, including the Wadsworth area. Campaign volunteers lead the fund raising drive every year and Community Investment volunteers study the requests for program funding in order to insure that contributions are used wisely. This volunteer commitment helps keep United Way operating costs as low as possible.Currently operating costs are 13.05% of funds raised, lower than the 15-25% suggested for responsible charities.The contributions that donors and volunteers make through United Way of Medina County are wise investments in their communities.
