What Community Resources are Provided by the United Way of Medina County?
 

Volunteer Center     
The Volunteer Center is a program of United Way of Medina County that provides leadership to increase the effectiveness and number of dynamic volunteers in Medina County.  Core volunteer programs include Volunteer Opportunities for Teens (V.O.F.T.) and Youth Service Awards, and the Court Referral Program.

The Volunteer Center lends support to Feed-A-Family campaign and Day of Caring projects throughout the community.

Resource Council
The Medina County Resource Council offers a forum for non-profit organizations to exchange information related to program services in an effort to minimize duplication. The Council also provides a great networking opportunity for agencies allowing for collaboration to address community needs.

EFSP    
United Way of Medina County, through a local advisory board, coordinates the distribution of state and federal funds for emergency assistance for food, rent and utility payments for low-income families.

2-1-1 First Call for Help   
A collaborative effort of United Way of Medina County, Medina County District Library, the ADAMH Board, Medina County Job & Family Services, Medina County Commissioners, Medina County Emergency Management Agency, designed as a central information source which links an individual's needs with an agency that can fill those needs.Information and referral services are provided to more than 2,000 callers annually.
