2-1-1

What is 2-1-1?

Every hour of every day, someone in the United States needs essential services – from finding substance abuse assistance to securing adequate care for a child or an aging parent. Faced with a dramatic increase in the number of agencies and help lines, people often don’t know where to turn. In many cases, people end up going without these necessary and readily available services because they don’t know where to start. This is where 2-1-1 can help . . .

2-1-1 is a simple, easy-to-remember number to call when you need information regarding human services. It is free, confidential, and available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Information specialists will answer your call and refer you to the most appropriate agencies when you need help or access to health and human services in Medina County.
